| Hanse Yachts designs and builds yachts
with a timeless elegance, influenced by the style of the
sailing ship originating from the American East Coast.
Hanse Yachts differentiates themselves from other
mass-produced European yachts - our boats are build by
sailors for sailors. To us, great sailing performance is
just as important as aesthetics and interior design.
Hanse Yachts are fast, but different from other boats
of this genre. They are extremely easy to sail and
without modifications, easy to sail single-handed. To
help in this task our boats come equipped with fully
battened main sail, easy-reefing system and a roller
furling self-tacking jib.
Hanse Yachts are designed so that no large
overlapping genoa is needed. We ensure that in the
construction of our boats the floor frame and keel
mounts are larger that necessary so that damage will be
minimized even in the event of large impact.
On the larger models (371 and 411) the keel is made
from two parts, so that even if the keel gets hit, the
main part of the impct energy is dissipated and does not
reach the hull. Hanse uses advanced gelcoat, Maxguard
von Neste, for maximum UV resistance and longevity.
Hanse even installs wiring conduits to make later
fitment of extra electronics an easy task.
The aesthetic and timeless elegance of the Hanse
Yachts has been developed and designed by renowned naval
architects as Carl Beyer, Hakan Södergren, Joubert/Nivelt
and Judel/Vrolojk. Htey have helped us to produce yachts
that offer plenty of space below decks and yet are
pretty, fast, safe and easy to sail.
